Good product, would highly recommend. If I have to pick one thing to criticize, when the sunlight is very strong, the keypad numbers are kinda hard to see.

It's like having Apple Face ID on the door, and you have 7 other ways to get in, for less than $300, that's just an amazing product. Would be even better if they can integrate with my CPI security system, and customer support told me they are working on that Z-Wave integration. Looking forward to it!

Been a happy customer since day 1, I can't use enough words to describe how smooth and seamless it works. 10/10, already told my cousin about it.
I’m kind of a tech nerd, so I got tired of carrying keys around everywhere. I came across Ora FacePass online, and honestly, it felt like the best value out there with 8 different ways to unlock the door. The setup was super easy too. I need to get 2 more units for my back door and garage door
It does not integrate with Apple Home or Matter, other than that it's a good product. I guess i should have read the compatibility list before i bought it.
They installed this lock in like, 20 minutes! I walked up to it, it recognized me instantly and my door magically unlocked. I love this new smart lock! My kids love it, too! No more looking for my keys approaching my door. This is definitely the best upgrade we've made to our home in years.
The face recognition is shockingly fast, even at night in our porch's dim lighting. Six months in, zero failed unlocks. Worth every dollar. Especially the price tag I was paying for, best value preceived!
We have an old mortise door and finding a smart lock that fit was a nightmare, until we came across FP03. The fit on the door panel is perfect, the finish looks seamless, and the app is clean. Couldn't be happier.
The motor drives the deadbolt is so satisfying. It's powerful and quick. My door locks itself behind me every time, which is exactly what I forget to do. Battery life has been excellent it seems like, the design is sleek! Only thing I wish for is a even higher HD camera, like a 4K camera.
Set up temporary codes for our dog walker and cleaning service lady. Access logs in the app show me exactly when each person came and left. Face unlock means I never fumble for my phone or keys with groceries in my arms.
Survived several winter storms without flinching. Freezing outside and it still scanned my face even I had a hat on. I was skeptical of this new tech but they hold up.
Pella Multipoint entry door owners! this is the smart lock you've been looking for. Slid right into the existing prep, finish matches our front door perfectly. Recognize my face in under a second, every time. Pretty dope!
Bought it because of the auto-lock and stayed for the build quality. Heavy, solid, and the motor is whisper-quiet. My wife thought it was overkill until she got used to never needing keys. However, needed more instructions in the operations guide on the privacy lock feature, it wasn't explained well, I had to call customer support to figure it out.
One common issue with most facial recognition smart lock is their poor performance under direct sunlight, it seems like these guys figured it out somehow. Already told my neighbors about it.
Replaced a Schlage Encode with this and the difference is night and day. Face ID? if that's the name of it, is genuinely magic. The physical key backup gave me peace of mind during install.
It took me a minute to figure out how to enter the settings menu on the device, I press the # key too fast after pressing the * key, and it keeps triggering the doorbell. Customer service told me this issue has been fixed on the new model so we will see.
Whole family is enrolled — wife, two teenagers, and even my dad when he visits. Granular access per user is the killer feature. I get notified the moment anyone walks in.
Mortise locks are usually a pain to upgrade. FP03 was the easiest install I've done on this house. Like seriously I didn't even need to read the installation manual. Key fob backup is fast and the face scan is faster. Excellent product!
Five months of heavy use and the battery's still at 40%. The auto-lock feature is brilliant, no more wondering if I locked the door before work. Highly recommend.
My elderly mother lives with us and struggles with keys. Face unlock changed her daily life. She just walks up and the door opens. That alone is worth it.
Smart home stack is WiFi and Alexa. Pairing was zero drama. Events log to my app, and the offline use design means it works even when my internet goes out.
Historic home with a mortise prep — this fit perfectly and the brushed finish blends with our original hardware. Friends keep asking what brand it is. Solid engineering.
Bought one for the front door, then bought a second for the side entry within a month. That should tell you everything. The double-bore version is worth the upgrade.
Husband travels for work and the remote unlock from the app has saved us so many times when he forgets something. Notifications are instant. Battery is way better than my previous lock.
Installed on a Saturday morning with one screwdriver and a YouTube video. The face enrollment took less than a minute. It even worked with my safety glasses on at the bench.
Our brownstone needed something that didn't scream tech-bro on the front door. FP03 looks like premium hardware first, smart lock second. We get compliments on it weekly.
The motor is so quiet I sometimes wonder if it actually moved — then I check and yes, locked. Auto-lock on a 20s delay is the perfect setting. Could not be happier.
When I bought it and saw the doorbell feature, I thought it's going to behave the same like Ring Doorbell with security monitoring feature and subscriptions. But then customer support said their products don't actively record or monitor, this should be something being written clearly on the box!
Replaced Yale Assure 2 Smart Lock and the FP01 is a generation ahead. The face scan adds a layer of convenience I didn't know I needed. Physical key fallback was the deciding factor for my wife.
Heavy snow, freezing rain, none of it has slowed the deadbolt down. Auto relock means I never wonder if I locked up before bed. Game-changing for a forgetful person like me.
Property manager here — installed FP02 on three rental units. Tenants love it, turnover is easier, and I can revoke codes instantly when leases end. ROI was three months.
Custom built home with European mortise hardware throughout. FP03 was the only smart lock that fit without retrofitting the door. App is genuinely good, not an afterthought.
The peace of mind from auto relock is hard to overstate. My anxiety about leaving the door unlocked is just gone now. Build quality feels closer to commercial-grade than residential.
Five months in, still impressed. The face unlock works through fogged-up glasses on rainy mornings. Z-Wave integration with my SmartThings hub was plug and play.
Kids are six and nine — both enrolled, both come home from school and walk straight in. No more hiding keys under planters. The activity log is reassuring for working parents.
Restored an old craftsman with original mortise locks. FP03 honored the look while adding twenty-first century features. Honestly the only smart lock I'd consider for this kind of house.
The facial recognition does the work for you. Coming home with two armfuls of groceries and watching the door unlock and re-lock itself never gets old.
Survived a Rochester winter, salt, and slushy boots tracking across the threshold. Lock is still smooth, face scan is still instant. Battery has been impressively consistent.
Worth it for the temporary access codes alone. House sitters, contractors, the dog walker — everyone gets their own code with their own schedule. Privacy and control finally combined.
Installed on the door to our garage workshop. PIN access for me and my brother, no keys floating around. Compact and unobtrusive. Exactly what an interior smart lock should be.
Beautiful piece of hardware. The mortise fit on our 1920s door was exact — no shimming, no chiseling. Face scan is uncannily fast and the iOS app is intuitive.
Coastal humidity hasn't fazed it at all. Motorized deadbolt still smooth six months later. The Ora app's automation rules — auto-lock after sunset, for example — are surprisingly powerful.
My husband was the holdout but two weeks with FP01 converted him. Face unlock is just objectively better than fumbling with keys. The app's notification design is excellent.
I run a small Airbnb and FP02 has changed my turnover workflow completely. Guest codes expire at checkout, no key handoffs, no lockboxes. This lock paid for itself.
FP03 on our front door, plain mortise prep, perfect fit. The brushed nickel matches the rest of our hardware. Friends visiting can't tell it's a smart lock from across the room.
Love the lock, four stars because the app's initial setup felt a little dated. Once you're past onboarding, the day-to-day experience is excellent. Face recognition is genuinely fast and accurate.
Solid hardware, great install. Knocking one star because I wish the auto-lock delay had more presets. Otherwise, the face unlock is everything I hoped for and Z-Wave pairing was effortless.
Excellent mortise lock — fits our pre-war apartment door perfectly. Slight wish list: faster firmware update times. Day-to-day, the face scan and app are top tier and reliable.
The smart lock overall is fantastic. Four stars because I'd love a darker bronze finish option. Performance and build are excellent — face recognition works flawlessly through my glasses.
Great doule-bore setup (deadbolt + latch) for our office door. Biometrics entry is reliable and the build feels solid. Would love a slightly louder system prompt volume — minor nitpick on an otherwise great product.
Strong product. Face unlock is fast and the physical key backup is reassuring. Only complaint is the app's notification settings could be more granular — easy fix in a future update.
Sleek and well-made. The Alexa integration is great. Star deducted because I wish there were more guest code customization options. Otherwise the face scan and lock action are excellent.
FP03 fit our 1890s mortise prep beautifully. Face recognition is consistently fast. Four stars because the install instructions could use better diagrams, but the lock itself is first-rate.
The motor is quiet and the auto-lock is a lifesaver. Knocking one star purely because the app icon design isn't my favorite. The actual hardware? Outstanding for the price.
Replaced a Yale lock and I'm honestly happier with FP01. Face scan is snappy, the app is clean. One small gripe: I'd love a bit more battery indicator detail. Still a strong recommendation.
